VOMITS OF BLOOD

There could be many reasons causing your dog to vomit blood like tumour, foreign bodies cutting the throat or an accident. Look our for black coloured blood which means that it's come from the stomach or intestine and those dog might be suffering from an ulcer. But the fact is that if you yourself try to diagnose the disease and the causes, it won't be possible since it's not that obvious. So the better option is to immediately take him to the vet. Don't give him any food or water. If the vet can't be available before a day, you can give him diluted light consistency glucose water once in 24 hours, but it's better if even that can be avoided.

After reading about so many diseases, don't put off the decision to keep a dog in the house. As you must have realized by now, so many of the diseases can actually be prevented by your own efforts, of keeping the dog healthy, giving him fresh, nutritious, clean food, a clean home and a clean bed. Don't let him mix up with the street smart yet dirty guys in the neighbourhood. Wash him regularly, comb him, massage him. And then you will find that your dog can be nothing but a source of happiness to any one, and never a cause of worry. Always remember that he is there to make your life more relaxing, enjoyable and meaningful. How ever, after all, he is a living creature and is bound to fall sick sometime or the other, and you must take that in your stride. Be by his side in all circumstances and I can promise you that he will repay you everything back - love, affection, obedience and company-at least ten times the amount he gets.
