TICKSThey are small leech-like creatures and get sticked hard to the outer skin and survive by sucking the blood. They can be present in the ear, or on any other visible part or the skin. While getting rid of them, it is very essential that you pluck them out completely, even if that means removal of some of the dog's skin along with it when you snatch the insect. The best way would be to dip some cotton in alcohol or camphor and apply it over the ticks for some time. This makes them loosen their grip on the dog, and can easily be removed thereafter with tweezers. Buy a good disinfectant, like peroxide, or a good tick power/spray and apply on the dog.
