THE LAST MEAL
If you want, the last meal need not be dinner. Dogs love a small meal right at bed time. When he is just going to sleep, if you give him a rusk in milk or two biscuits, he will be very happy. And don't think that he will be spoiled with small small treats. Being disciplined is something which you have to teach. Small treats if given carefully do not spoil anybody anyway I'm sure even you like them.
And don't be surprised when your dog eats his food very fast - chews less and swallows more. There is a reason for it. The digestion in a dog's stomach is much faster and better than ours. His stomach has stronger digestive juices which can effectively digest unchewed food. Your dog will always eat faster than you. Don't scold him ever for doing this.
