PARVO VIRUS INFECTION
This infection can be of two kinds:
Diarrhoea infection : - The common symptoms would include blood vomits, blood in loose motions and general lethargy, loss of appetite, pungent smelling stools and dehydration. Parvo virus is the cause of the disease and gets transmitted through faeces or an unvaccinated dog. If the vomits are continuous, immediately stop all food and fluids. Consult your vet. As an immediate cure, a tinge of bleaching powder in a cup of water can be given. You can give isabgole with curd to stop loose motions, Dehydration can be checked by giving electral solution.
Cardiac infection :- The symptoms are wheezing and difficulty in breathing, weak heart muscles leading to general sickness and loss of interest in plays. Consult the vet immediately since sudden deaths are most common in this infection.
