NOSE BLEEDING

Bleeding in the nose can indicate either high blood pressure or other characteristics of hot blood movement in the body, or might be caused by more serious ailments like tumours, decayed tooth sockets or an accident. In certain cases, there are minute parasites or other foreign bodies in the nose which lead to bleeding if the dog gives himself a sharp blow. Clean the nostrils properly and wash with fresh clean cold water as an immediate treatment. Check for any mite etc., in the nose and remove it carefully with a tweezer or fork. Put ice cubes near the nose to stop the bleeding. If nothing works, close he nose tip with pressure from your fingers and take him to the vet.
