MILKThere is no doubt that the best milk for any baby, be it a human baby or a puppy, is his mother's milk. If you can feed him with that, nothing like it. But the second option is the artificial milk which you drink or the powdered milk available for human babies. Double the quantity which is specified for a human baby must be used to feed your dog. Otherwise if you can somehow get cow's milk, it will substitute, though not perfectly, the need for the bitch's milk. Some dog care stores keep artificial bitch's milk. You can use that too. For a wholesome diet, milk should always be mixed with some amount of meat trash since the latter contains proteins and iron which are not present in milk.
