HARD PAD
Hard pad is a disease one step ahead of distemper. In addition to the distemper symptoms, one peculiar symptom would be hardened foot pads and nose. This usually would happen around fifteen days after he catches the infection. The sooner you realize the dog is sick, the better are the chances or his recovery. Again, like distemper, the cure is largely in the hands of the vet. It is a very serious disease and the vet must be consulted immediately.
