EMETICS

If your dog has eaten a poisonous or harmful substance and you want him to vomit it out, then you need an emetic. Emetics are used to induce vomiting in animals. The most common emetic for dogs is common salt. Alternatively you may also use a washing soda crystal. The way to administer use of an emetic is to push the emetic crystals down the throat of the dog as deep as possible. Try to give the emetic as soon as you find out that he has swallowed poison. If it is more than one hour after the poison consumption, the dog will start feeling drowsy and fainting. Take him to the vet in such a state.
