ABSCESSES

Persistent swelling accompanied by pain land pus in the skin is the condition called abscesses. The swelling gradually expands till it becomes pointed in the middle. Then the abscess bursts and pus comes out. Don't push the swelling to make the pus burst. Let it take its normal course. Otherwise the infection might not be healed properly. To encourage the formation of a pointed swell, bathe your dog in a hot saline solution. When the pus bursts, clean the area with an antiseptic lotion. Or else you can use homemade warm salt solution ( one spoon salt in a glass of water ) to clean the wound.
